At New Forest Direct Cremations, our direct cremation service is designed to provide a respectful and straightforward option for families who want a low-cost cremation without a formal service.

Making the Arrangements
All arrangements can be made simply and conveniently by telephone and email, allowing you to remain in the comfort of your own home while we take care of everything with sensitivity and professionalism.
Bringing Your Loved One Into Our Care
Once the death has been formally verified, your loved one will be brought directly and safely into our care in a private ambulance by our professional, experienced, and fully uniformed staff. We will ensure this is carried out with the utmost dignity and respect.
Signing the Documents
We will send all necessary documents to you by post, together with a stamped addressed envelope for their return. This makes the process as simple and stress-free as possible.
Cremation
The cremation will take place at a local crematorium. We will let you know the day on which it is due to take place, giving you the opportunity to take a quiet moment to reflect, should you wish.
Ashes
We offer a number of options for the ashes, depending on your wishes:
Scattering in the Garden of Remembrance
Ashes can be scattered in the crematorium’s Garden of Remembrance without witness.
Scattering or Interment with Witness
Ashes may also be scattered or interred in the Garden of Remembrance with witness.
Please contact the crematorium directly to make these arrangements. Additional charges may apply and are payable directly to the crematorium.
Hand Delivery
Ashes can be hand-delivered to you by a member of our team.
